Publication Ethics
ARC Publication is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and editorial integrity. The journal follows the principles and best practices set out by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and applies them across all stages of the editorial and publishing process. The journal values transparency, academic responsibility, and accountability. Input from contributors, reviewers, and editorial board members is encouraged as part of our ongoing effort to strengthen editorial quality and scholarly standards.
Peer Review Model and Editorial Oversight
All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process, in which the identities of reviewers and contributors are not disclosed at any point during evaluation. This approach supports impartial assessment and minimizes the risk of bias.
Manuscripts are reviewed by qualified subject specialists selected by the editorial team based on academic expertise and relevance to the submission. In addition to scientific assessment, manuscripts may be subject to editorial checks for structure, clarity, and technical accuracy where required.
Handling of Ethical Concerns and Research Misconduct
The journal takes all allegations of research misconduct seriously and follows a structured review process consistent with COPE recommendations.
Research misconduct may include, but is not limited to:
- Duplicate or overlapping publication
- Plagiarism or unattributed reuse of content
- Fabrication or manipulation of data
Concerns raised by reviewers, readers, or editors are examined through an internal assessment to determine whether further investigation is warranted. Where sufficient evidence exists, the corresponding contributor is contacted and invited to provide an explanation.
If misconduct is confirmed, appropriate corrective measures are taken, which may include rejection, correction, or retraction of the article. In cases where clarification is inadequate or communication fails, the journal reserves the right to escalate the matter to the relevant institutional authority.
Authorship Changes and Contributor Responsibility
Requests to amend contributor details are considered only under defined circumstances and are handled in accordance with ethical publishing standards.
Authorship change requests may include:
- Addition or removal of a corresponding contributor prior to publication
- Addition or removal of a corresponding contributor after publication
To process such requests, the journal requires:
- A written explanation outlining the reason for the proposed change
- Formal confirmation from all listed contributors agreeing to the revision
Where agreement cannot be reached, editorial consideration of the manuscript may be suspended until the issue is resolved. For published articles, unresolved authorship disputes may be referred to the affiliated institution for independent review.
Commitment to Integrity and Accountability
The editorial team, reviewers, and contributors share responsibility for maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. All parties are expected to act in good faith, disclose relevant conflicts of interest, and adhere to accepted ethical standards throughout the publication process.
